Easton Area Rovers (Easton, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Louis E. Dieruff Huskies (Allentown, PA), 30-0 in a league challenge.

The Rovers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitehall for a Eastern Pennsylvania Conference challenge on Thursday, March 31. Easton Area will battle a Zephyrs squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA). The Zephyrs record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Louis E. Dieruff falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Emmaus (Emmaus, PA) to battle the Hornets in a Eastern Pennsylvania Conference challenge on Thursday, March 31. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Emmaus won 17-0 in their recent league challenge against William Allen (Allentown, PA)
