Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX), 13-3 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Prairiland for a 3A Region II District 12 challenge on Friday, April 1. Edgewood will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 10-3 league win over Chisum (Paris, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Lone Oak falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Commerce (Commerce, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 3A Region II District 12 challenge on Friday, April 1. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-11. Commerce lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Rains (Emory, TX)
