The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX) and the visiting Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX), saw Gilmer's softball squad achieve victory over Pleasant Grove by a count of 10-1.

The Buckeyes now sport a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty-Eylau for a 4A Region II District 15 match on Friday, April 1. Gilmer will face a Leopards squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to North Lamar (Paris, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Pleasant Grove falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Hawks host Paris (Paris, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 4A Region II District 15 match on Friday, April 1. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-11. Paris won 14-12 in their recent league match against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX)
