Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Gordo Green Wave (Gordo, AL) and the host Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL), witnessed Gordo's softball squad tip Northridge by a count of 10-5.

The Green Wave now sport a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Holy Spirit Catholic for a non-league match on Thursday, March 31. Gordo will face a Saints squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Berry (Berry, AL). The Saints record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Northridge moves to 3-11 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Brookwood (Brookwood, AL) to face the Panthers in a 6A Area 7 match on Thursday, March 31. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 15-21. Brookwood won 5-4 in their recent league match against Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL)
