In Tuesday's league contest, the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) softball team held off the visiting Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC), by a margin of 6-5.
With the triumph, Gray Stone Day moves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Knights travel to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 30. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 6-4. East Rowan lost 8-1 in their recent league contest against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A contest, on Thursday, March 31. Robinson will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).
