Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC), 20-0 in a league challenge.

The Golden Hawks now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apex for a Southwest Wake 4A challenge on Friday, April 1. Holly Springs will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Northwood (Pittsboro, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Green Hope falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Falcons host Green Level (Cary, NC) to battle the Gators in a Southwest Wake 4A challenge on Friday, April 1. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. Green Level lost 14-5 in their recent league challenge against Middle Creek (Apex, NC)
