Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) and the host Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV), witnessed South Charleston's softball squad tip Greenbrier East by a count of 8-3.

The Black Eagles now sport a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Hurricane for a Mountain State match on Thursday, March 31. South Charleston will meet a Redskins squad coming off a 6-3 league win over St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Redskins record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Greenbrier East moves to 3-2 on the season. The Spartans host Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV) to meet the Big Blacks in a non-league match on Saturday, April 2. The Big Blacks go into the match with a record of 1-1. Point Pleasant lost 7-0 in their recent non-league match against Sissonville (Charleston, WV)
