The Rio Hondo Bobcats softball team (Rio Hondo, TX), was routed 21-18 in Tuesday's league test with the host Hidalgo Pirates (Hidalgo, TX)

Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 32 test, on Friday, April 8. Hidalgo will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Tarpons enter the test with a 2-0 record after their 14-4 league win over Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX).

The Bobcats (1-10) will now prepare for their test against La Feria (La Feria, TX). The Lions enter the 4A Region IV District 32 test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, La Feria tipped Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX), 15-4, in a league test.
