The Hobbton Wildcats softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Lakewood Leopards to 3 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Hobbton improves its record to 2-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Union (Rose Hill, NC) to clash with the Spartans in a Carolina 1A game on Thursday, March 31. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 4-5. Union lost 12-4 in their recent league game against North Duplin (Calypso, NC)

In their next game, the Leopards clash with the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 31. Lakewood will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 3-7 record after their 14-2 league win over North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC).
