Arizona High School Softball - Independence thwarted by West Point

The Independence Patriots softball team (Glendale, AZ), was routed 26-3 in Tuesday's league test with the host West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ)

Coming up next, the Dragons clash with the Glendale Cardinals (Glendale, AZ) in a 5A Central test, on Thursday, March 31. West Point will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 3-9 record after their 13-2 league loss to North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ).

The Patriots (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 17-2 record. In their last test, Lake Havasu overcame Verrado (Buckeye, AZ), 19-1, in a league test.
