Jackson County Blue Devils (Gainesboro, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sequatchie County for a 2A District 5 challenge on Thursday, March 31. Jackson County will battle a Indians squad coming off a 11-5 league loss to Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN). The Indians record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, York Institute falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Monterey (Monterey, TN) to battle the Wildcats in a 2A District 5 challenge on Thursday, March 31. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Monterey lost 10-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Watertown (Watertown, TN)
