North Carolina High School Softball - South Lenoir bounces James Kenan

The South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) softball routed the visiting James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC), 20-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Blue Devils (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Stallions go into the East Central 2A bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Southwest Onslow was routed by East Duplin (Beulaville, NC), 12-2, in a league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Kinston for a East Central 2A bout on Friday, April 1. James Kenan will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-3.
