In Tuesday's league contest, the Northside - Pinetown Panthers (Pinetown, NC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC), by a margin of 13-1.

With the triumph, Northside - Pinetown moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Panthers host Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC) to play the Devil Pups in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A contest on Friday, April 1. The Devil Pups come into the contest with a record of 2-3. Lejeune won 9-6 in their recent league contest against Southside (Chocowinity, NC)

In their next game, the Trojans play the Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC) in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A contest, on Friday, April 1. Jones will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Hurricanes come into the contest with a 9-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to East Carteret (Beaufort, NC).
