Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Stallions now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Duplin for a East Central 2A challenge on Wednesday, March 30. Southwest Onslow will face a Panthers squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Kinston falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host James Kenan (Warsaw, NC) to face the Tigers in a East Central 2A challenge on Friday, April 1. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. James Kenan lost 20-1 in their recent league challenge against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC)
