Florida High School Softball - Lake Howell holds off University

Lake Howell Silver Hawks (Winter Park, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting University Titans (Orange City, FL), 5-3 in a league challenge.

The Silver Hawks now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to University for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 30. Lake Howell will face a Cougars squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Colonial (Orlando, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, University falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Lake Region (Eagle Lake, FL) to face the Thunder in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 31. The Thunder enter the challenge with a record of 8-6. Lake Region won 17-0 in their recent non-league battle against Haines City (Haines City, FL)
