Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX), 13-5 in a league challenge.

The Cavaliers now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host San Marcos for a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, April 1. Lake Travis will battle a Rattlers squad coming off a 10-7 league loss to Akins (Austin, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Westlake falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Chaparrals host Del Valle (Del Valle, TX) to battle the Cardinals in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, April 1. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 5-10. Del Valle lost 14-3 in their recent league challenge against San Marcos (San Marcos, TX)
