In Tuesday's league contest, the Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY), by a margin of 10-0.

With the triumph, Lewis County moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Notre Dame Academy (Park Hills, KY) to play the Pandas in a non-league contest on Friday, April 1. The Pandas come into the contest with a record of 2-0. Notre Dame Academy won 19-0 in their recent league contest against Holy Cross (Covington, KY)

In their next game, the Red Devils play the Dawson-Bryant Hornets (Coal Grove, OH) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 31. Russell will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Greenup County (Greenup, KY).
