The Matoaca Warriors softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Meadowbrook Monarchs to 2 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Matoaca improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Warriors host Prince George (Prince George, VA) to clash with the Royals in a Central game on Wednesday, March 30. The Royals come into the game with a record of 1-2. Prince George lost 6-5 in their recent league game against Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA)

In their next game, the Monarchs clash with the Colonial Heights Colonials (Colonial Heights, VA) in a Central game, on Thursday, March 31. Meadowbrook will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Colonials come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 12-0 league win over Hopewell (Hopewell, VA).
