Kentucky High School Softball - Union County bounces McLean County

The Union County Braves routed the visiting McLean County Cougars softball squad by a final score of 16-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Braves (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Trigg County (Cadiz, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Trigg County was routed by Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Cougars now possess a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league battle on Friday, April 1. McLean County will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 15-7 league win over Butler County (Morgantown, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.
