The Mumford Mustangs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Somerville Yeguas to 6 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Mumford improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Mustangs host North Zulch (North Zulch, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A Region IV District 26 game on Friday, April 1. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 2-1. North Zulch lost 17-2 in their recent league game against Normangee (Normangee, TX)

In their next game, the Yeguas clash with the Iola Bulldogs (Iola, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 26 game, on Friday, April 1. Somerville will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 0-4 record after their 13-1 league loss to Burton (Burton, TX).
