North Carolina High School Softball - Northwest Guilford bounces Southwest Guilford

March 29, 2022: High Point, NC 27265

Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Guilford for a Metro 4A challenge on Friday, April 1. Northwest Guilford will face a Hornets squad coming off a 18-2 league loss to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, Southwest Guilford falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Page (Greensboro, NC) to face the Pirates in a Metro 4A challenge on Friday, April 1. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Page lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC)
