Plains-Hot Springs Horsemen (Plains, MT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Thompson Falls Blue Hawks (Thompson Falls, MT), 9-8 in a league challenge.

The Horsemen now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thompson Falls for a B District 6B challenge on Monday, April 25.

With the loss, Thompson Falls falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Blue hawks travel to Kellogg (Kellogg, ID) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 4. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Kellogg lost 14-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Orofino (Orofino, ID)
