In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) softball team held off the visiting Poca The Dots (Poca, WV), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Sherman moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Tide travel to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV) to play the Tigers in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 31. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 1-2. Chapmanville Regional lost 7-0 in their recent league contest against Nitro (Nitro, WV)
In their next game, the The Dots play the Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV) in a Cardinal contest, on Wednesday, March 30. Poca will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Pioneers come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 15-0 league loss to Hoover (Clendenin, WV).
