Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Port Arthur Memorial Titans (Port Arthur, TX), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beaumont United for a 5A Region III District 21 challenge on Friday, April 1. Port Neches-Groves will battle a Timberwolves squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 7-14.

With the loss, Port Arthur Memorial falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Titans host Galena Park (Galena Park, TX) to battle the Yellowjackets in a 5A Region III District 21 challenge on Friday, April 1. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 7-11.
