Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX), 6-5 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 20-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calhoun for a 4A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, April 1. Rockport-Fulton will battle a Sandcrabs squad coming off a 14-7 league win over Miller (Corpus Christi, TX). The Sandcrabs record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Sinton falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX) to battle the Bears in a 4A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, April 1. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 2-10. West Oso lost 30-0 in their recent league challenge against Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX)
