Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cedar Ridge for a 6A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, April 1. Round Rock will face a Raiders squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Vandegrift falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Vipers host Stony Point (Round Rock, TX) to face the Tigers in a 6A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, April 1. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-10. Stony Point lost 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX)
