North Carolina High School Baseball - Southwestern Randolph loses to Asheboro

The Asheboro Blue Comets crushed the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars baseball team by a count of 15-8 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Blue Comets now possess a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Central Davidson for a Mid-Piedmont 3A bout on Friday, March 31. Asheboro will face a Spartans team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 6-6.

Next, the Cougars face the Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A bout, on Friday, March 31. Southwestern Randolph will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record.
