In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Goreville Blackcats baseball team scored a nice 19-0 victory over the Egyptian Pharaohs.
The Blackcats (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Pope County (Golconda, IL). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Pope County ran past Crab Orchard (Marion, IL), 7-2, in a league game.
The Pharaohs (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Kelly (Benton, MO). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 3-2 record.
