South Carolina High School Baseball - May River gets by Hilton Head Island

May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, May River upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Sharks host Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to battle the Bengals in a 4A Region 7 test on Monday, April 3. The Bengals come into the test with a record of 2-11. Lucy Beckham lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Colleton County (Walterboro, SC)

With the defeat, Hilton Head Island falls to 7-2 on the season. The Seahawks travel to Bluffton (Bluffton, SC) to battle the Bobcats in a 4A Region 7 test on Monday, April 3. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 6-5. Bluffton lost 12-0 in their recent league test against James Island (Charleston, SC)
