Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting J.I. Burton Black Raiders (Norton, VA), 9-8 in a non-league test.
With the win, Ridgeview upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to John Battle (Bristol, VA) to battle the Trojans in a Mountain 7 test on Thursday, March 30. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-1. John Battle won 11-4 in their recent league test against Lee (Jonesville, VA)
With the defeat, J.I. Burton falls to 0-2 on the season. The Black raiders host Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA) to battle the Wolfpack in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 5. The Wolfpack come into the test with a record of 4-2.
