The Pius X Thunderbolts crushed the host Papillion-LaVista Monarchs baseball team by a tally of 13-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Thunderbolts now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bennington for a non-league bout on Friday, March 31. Pius X will face a Badgers team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE). The Badgers record now stands at 4-2.
Next, the Monarchs face the Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 30. Papillion-LaVista will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Dragons enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE).
