With the win, Whiteville advances its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host Pender (Burgaw, NC) to play the Patriots in a Waccamaw 1A/2A outing on Monday, April 3. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 0-8. Pender lost 5-3 in their recent league outing against South Columbus (Tabor City, NC)

In their next game, the Gators play the Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) in a Waccamaw 1A/2A outing, on Friday, March 31. East Columbus will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Titans go into the outing with a 8-1 record after their 9-0 league win over West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC).
