Next, the Comets face the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 31. Halifax County will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA).

The Phoenix now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bassett for a challenge on Friday, March 31. Mecklenburg County will face a Bengals team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over James River (Buchanan, VA). The Bengals record now stands at 5-0.
