The Moapa Valley Pirates softball team scored 21 runs and limited the visiting Cheyenne Desert Shields to 5 in the Pirates league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Moapa Valley moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Pirates travel to Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Desert Shields in a game on Thursday, April 20. The Desert Shields come into the game with a record of 0-4.
