In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) softball team overwhelmed the host Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), by a margin of 18-7.

With the triumph, Rio Grande moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Ravens host Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Jaguars in a non-league contest on Monday, April 3. The Jaguars come into the contest with a record of 4-5.

In their next game, the Hornets play the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 30. Highland will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record.
