The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) and the host Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), witnessed Monticello's lacrosse squad overcome Orange County by a tally of 15-7.

The Mustangs now have a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Fluvanna County for a Jefferson battle on Tuesday, April 11.

In their next game, the Fighting Hornets clash with the Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 31. Orange County will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 19-7 league win over Eastern View (Culpeper, VA).
