Virginia High School Soccer - Nelson County knocks off Alleghany

The Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) soccer bounced the host Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA), 5-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Nelson County moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Governors host Altavista (Altavista, VA) to battle the Colonels in a Dogwood bout on Wednesday, April 19. The Colonels enter the bout with a record of 1-3.
In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 30. Alleghany will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Chargers enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 7-0 league loss to Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA).
