North Carolina High School Softball - North Gaston bounces Bessemer City

The North Gaston Wildcats routed the visiting Bessemer City Yellow Jackets softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Wildcats (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Huskies go into the Big South 3A battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Huss was routed by Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Ashbrook for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 30. Bessemer City will meet a Greenwave squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Greenwave record now stands at 1-7.
