Gulfport Admirals (Gulfport, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Bryant Hurricanes (Irvington, AL), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Admirals now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hancock for a 6A Region 8 game on Thursday, April 6. Gulfport will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 14-3.

In their next game, the Hurricanes clash with the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints (Mobile, AL) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 3. Bryant will attempt to improve on its 14-10 season record. The Saints come into the game with a 4-6 record after their 9-7 non-league win over Baker (Mobile, AL).
