Canyon View Falcons (Cedar City, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT), 9-7 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host Emery for a 3A Region 12 challenge on Friday, March 31. Canyon View will face a Spartans squad coming off a 9-7 league loss to Canyon View (Cedar City, UT). The Spartans record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Emery falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Canyon View (Cedar City, UT) to face the Falcons in a 3A Region 12 challenge on Friday, March 31.
