The Medical Lake Cardinals (Medical Lake, WA) softball nipped the visiting Colville Crimson Hawks (Colville, WA), 8-7 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Freeman (Rockford, WA). The Scotties go into the 1A Northeast bout with a 0-1 record.
The Crimson Hawks now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Lakeside for a 1A Northeast bout on Friday, March 31. Colville will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 15-2 league loss to Riverside (Chattaroy, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
