New Richmond Lions (New Richmond, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Goshen Warriors (Goshen, OH), 11-3 in a league challenge.

The Lions now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Glen Este for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 1.

With the loss, Goshen falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Archbishop McNicholas (Cincinnati, OH) to face the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 30.
