Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Golden Hawks now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Apex for a Southwest Wake 4A challenge on Friday, March 31. Holly Springs will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Green Hope falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Green Level (Cary, NC) to battle the Gators in a Southwest Wake 4A challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. Green Level lost 10-7 in their recent league challenge against Panther Creek (Cary, NC)
