South Carolina High School Softball - Hilton Head Island falls to May River

March 29, 2023: Bluffton, SC 2991

In Wednesday's league outing, the host May River Sharks softball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Hilton Head Island Seahawks.

Coming up next, the Sharks battle the Lucy Beckham Bengals (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a AAAA Region 7 outing, on Monday, April 3. May River will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Bengals enter the outing with a 5-6 record after their 16-4 league loss to Colleton County (Walterboro, SC).

The Seahawks (0-8) will now prepare for their outing against Beaufort (Beaufort, SC). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Beaufort ran past West Ashley (Charleston, SC), 10-0, in a non-league outing.
