The Providence Catholic Celtics softball team (New Lenox, IL), was routed 6-3 in Wednesday's non-league test with the host Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL)

Coming up next, the Porters clash with the Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 1. Lockport will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 13-2 non-league win over Rosary (Aurora, IL).

The Celtics (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Coalers come into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Coal City edged Peotone (Peotone, IL), 5-3, in a league test.
