Louisiana High School Softball - Pearl River knocked off by Pope John Paul II

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA), by a margin of 11-3.

With the triumph, Pope John Paul II moves its record to 16-3 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Mandeville (Mandeville, LA) to play the Skippers in a non-league contest on Friday, March 31. The Skippers come into the contest with a record of 6-7.

In their next game, the Rebels play the Franklinton Demons (Franklinton, LA) in a 4A District 8 contest, on Thursday, March 30. Pearl River will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record.
