The Buford Yellowjackets (Lancaster, SC) baseball trounced the host North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC), 9-1 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets play the Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 2. Buford will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 5-6 record after their 5-2 league loss to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC).

The Knights now sport a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spencerport for a non-league contest on Monday, April 1. North Central will play a Rangers squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY). The Rangers record now stands at 0-1.
