The Evans Knights crushed the host Lakeside Panthers baseball team by a count of 12-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they host Thomson for a non-league bout on Monday, April 1. Evans will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-2 league win over Putnam County (Eatonton, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-9.

Next, the Panthers face the Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 1. Lakeside will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 7-8 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Hampton County (Varnville, SC).
