The Fordyce Redbugs baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Gurdon Go-Devils to 1 in the Redbugs league victory on Friday.
The Redbugs (11-4) will now prepare for their match against Poyen (Poyen, AR). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 3-8 record. In their last match, Poyen edged Cutter-Morning Star (Hot Springs National Park, AR), 14-2, in a non-league match.
The Go-Devils (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Rison (Rison, AR). The Wildcats go into the 2A Region 8 match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Rison edged Drew Central (Monticello, AR), 16-7, in a non-league match.
