Arkansas High School Baseball - Izard County loses to South Side

The South Side Hornet crushed the visiting Izard County Cougars baseball team by a count of 9-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Hornet now possess a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host St. Joseph for a non-league bout on Monday, April 1. South Side will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to West Side (Greers Ferry, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
Next, the Cougars face the Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR) in a 2A Region 2 bout, on Monday, April 1. Izard County will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Warhawks enter the bout with a 5-7 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Rose Bud (Rose Bud, AR).
